This hand is a little tough because he never let you know you were behind. Still, thats a pretty scary board for bottom two pair. I don't really have a problem with the flop bet or even the turn bet. After he called the turn bet, what did you think he had? At that point I'm thinking set or str8. I think I check the river with the intention of calling a modest bet and folding to an all in. I'm sure I'll be flamed for being weak, but at some point you have to give somebody credit for a hand.

You don't have to give someone credit for a hand here in a $5+1 buyin. Ok sometimes they will have something, but sometimes they will just call all your bets with one pair.
