It was my understanding that a proper trifecta requires c/r'ing every street and getting called on every street but not 3-bet.

Yeah, but you got 3-bet on the flop. I thought this negated a trifecta attempt.

Edit: Well, you edited your response from saying something like you got 3-bet but capped the river, but what I said still stands. Getting 3-bet negates a traditional trifecta. If a super trifecta is just a trifecta where you can get 3-bet, that's pretty weak...Just wait for a hand where your opponent has you destroyed and c/r every street and just wait to get 3-bet. Meh.

In my book a trifecta is freakin cool, 3 bets or no 3bets. In some ways gettin 3bet and still having the balls to pull of the trifecta anyway is cooler than finding some dumb monkey that will fall for the traditional trifecta.

He had AA. This guy wasn't an idiot. I think he just had a rock solid read of me having QT when I slowed down on the flop and then checkraised the turn.
