Good aggressive play here or is there a problem

My reads were nonexistent at the time, I'd sat down 8 hands previous, but they seemed to be reasonably passive players. I figured my immediate aggressive stance would confuse and befuddle them. In retrospect, I realize I maybe shouldn't have preflop raised unless it was suited.
