For the record, the SB complete was a misclick. I fold this usually. Wish I had.

Was your plan to slow play? Raise the flop to at least pot size. Your weakness all the way was begging to be put all-in on the river.

I second this. I at least like to know I'm behind when folding to an allin.

I don't like waiting until the river here as many fairly high Ax type hands might just want to stuff sensing a lower A. I think it's more likely to be checked or weakly bet down after showing flop strength. But, my approach to this could easily be all wrong.

My plan was to get to the showdown semi-cheap.

I know, it was bad.

So was your river bet a blocking bet???? I'd just check here and be prepared to call a small to perhaps moderate bet.

FWIW, I complete this all day, every day. I'll complete most hands for 1/3 of the BB.

If I'm checking this flop (which I don't, I like to pot it here), I'm raising this weak bet. Why are you waiting until the river to show you like your hand, if you're just going to fold. I think the fold is OK, given how you played it, but if I'm checking to the river, you might as well check and call a reasonable bet since you've let everyone and their mother catch up.

Nobody had shown much strength. I figured someone might make a small bet, which I wouldn't feel comfortable raising.

My thinking with the bet was, I thought an Ace would call me, and I didn't think that the Ace would bet as much, so in that sense, I guess it's a value bet.

I also decided to give them credit for a big hand if they raised me, figuring my spring to life bet might scare them away from raising anything but the nuts.

What do you think?

You're nuts. Bet the damn flop. This isn't a particularly solid hand and you don't want to give out free cards like they're candy.

What are you afraid of? The hands AA, KK, JJ, AK and AJ all raise before the flop in a typical game. That leaves them needing to hold exactly QT to beat you. If they have that, it'll suck, but you don't need to lose your stack. If you bet this strongly you can fold to a large raise.

I think folding preflop for 5 chips is very weak, unless maybe you are always playing like this when you flop 2 pair.
I would either bet out or check raise the flop, Id never just check call for 15.
