The Machinist

Anyone seen this movie? I was thinking of watching it. Its got Christian Bale as this insomniac that may or may not be going crazy. Just wondering what people thought of it on here.

Let me start by saying Christian Bale is a badass. This is a great movie just like any of his others. If you are into that whole psychotic/wierd stuff then you will probably enjoy it as well. The beginning is kind of slow, but it's interesting to watch the character struggling with his own mind. I saw a VCD version, the quality wasnt that great, so i would assume it would be better in the theater. Also, Bale lost something like 60 lbs to play this role, incredible.

I watched this in the theater (I watch way too many movies).... it's excellent, one of Bale's best.. I thought the ending didn't quite fit as well as I'd hoped, but it was a great movie anyway.
