When I started playing poker online, I thought hold'em was the game. I didn't do very well there, but not so bad either.
But after I started playing Omaha8 it has been a lot more interesting.
A lot of times you don't have to gamble. Just play the nuts and cash in.
At first sight it looked complicated to me, but when you get some practise it's really easy.
Normally I play potlimit, and have big swings. So bring a large bankroll!
If you keep cool and have patience, there should be a lot of profit to collect!
Yesterday I lost most of the time till there was one pot nut low and high. Only one pot was enough to show a lot of profit for the day!
A lot of people raise to much (IMO) before the flop, so if you make some "chance-calls" before the flop, you could often get a big pot if the flop fits your hand. The original raiser will often try to raise you out of the pot with a pair of aces or something like that.
A lot of good possibilities in Omaha8! :-)
Others with same experiences?
