Not really. With the river it works out, obviously, but imagine if river comes a brick.

true, but with that flop he's not going to get much action even if someone has a set, which in that case Im not so sure I want alot of action.

I think its +EV for the K to come... win ~30 when no one calls a real bet, or get the king to come and have a 20ish% chance of winning between 200 and 325 dollars...

200 -> 325 /5 = 40->60 > 30

Can I ask a newb question?

Was MP1 right to call the two turn all ins?

Another fun hand though at much lower stakes.
Also - a lesson why not to give a free card.

Thats a damn good question, Im not sure he is... he has to call 90 dollars with what he has to assume is 0% chance to win, and a 1/5 chance to lose, if he assumes someone has spades. I make this call if either of the all in'ners has made any suspect plays on the off chance that its only chopping 2 ways, but if everyone is solid, I dont know if I call... anyone else got any opinions? Also, do you call these pushes with AK spades in any of the positions if you had it on the turn??

You should have been at Party bad beat for that hand.

Woulda made a bundle. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Thats exactly what I thought. At best he is splitting, at worse he is letting people freeroll a river spade on his dime.

What about Button? If it's a rainbow board on the turn of course he's correct but wow.

you should play the bad beat tables /images/graemlins/cool.gif

when it gets back to him after his raise, he has to call 90 to win ~120. I think I still call, because there is a chance someone is pushing with a hand like AK spades, which only has about 25% pot equity when there is 3 people all in. Its some tricky math, but I think ya gotta call and cross your fingers

I would be hella impressed if someone wants to work out pot equity for all players on the turn given the range of hands they could have.

This is a cool effin hand to talk about.

First hand: You have to bet that flop.
Second hand: You are the luckiest SOB on the planet. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
Present discussion: Someone should just pokerstove it. Since the stacks aren't that big, it is probably right to call since someone could just be on the flush draw or full house draw or something. Not sure though. PokerStove is your friend.

There was an interesting hand like this on Mid-/High- a little while ago where it was heads up with an A/images/graemlins/diamond.gifQ/images/graemlins/heart.gifJ/images/graemlins/spade.gif flop, or something like that. Checkcheck. Turn was T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif. First guy bets, second guy raises, first guy goes all-in for $4500 into a $400 pot, I think. Second guy calls. Of course the first guy was freerolling diamonds and hit it on the river. The concensus was that the second guy should have probably folded because he was at best splitting and at worst getting free-rolled and it wasn't worth putting up $4500 for a shot at winning $200 from the split.
