I'd only just sat down. Sorry, no reads.

Did I puss out?

Or should I have folded the turn?

I figure this pot is offering me 13.5:2, and I'm drawing very very slim (no more than six outs - probably two).

I don't know exactly what percentage of the time the UTG has what he's representing, but I don't think it's as high as 90%, do you?

Btw, what makes you say 99?

No way should you fold this.

People will C/R the turn will much less than a set often. Even less than two pair sometimes (maybe he picked up a spade draw along with his pair.)

I wouldn't consider 3-betting though.

I disagree -- a player may c/r on the turn with a lot less, but this particular player called two cold on the flop and waited until the turn to c/r. This is unlikely to be a semibluff because there weren't any draws on the flop. Waiting like that is a made hand.

Hero is getting 11.5:2 by my count, because if he called the turn he'll call the river too. If villain has 2 pair, then hero has some outs (2 aces and 6 board pairs) to aces up, which makes it a thin but clear call *if* villain has 2 pair. Villain will have more than 2 pair most the time.

Bascially, against typical play it's clear that hero is behind. He might have 2 outs, he might have 8 outs, and he might even be drawing dead. Getting 5:1 is not enough.
