Ok this is my first hand post, so bear with me... i'm basically just looking to improve my play. i know that i should have gone for a check raise somewhere, but fortunately everyone else was aggressive for me. To make it read better I converted it like the party poker people do.

Your basic 3/6 Hold'em in a local Casino (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif, 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif.
9 calls hero checks.

Flop:(10SB) 4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif, A /images/graemlins/spade.gif (10 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, 2 calls, 1 Fold, 1 call, 1 fold, CO raises, Button 3 bets, SB calls, Hero 4 bets, UTG folds, everyone else calls.

Turn: (giant pot about 17.5 BB) 10 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
SB checks, Hero bets, 2 Folds, CO calls, button raises, SB folds, Hero 3 bets, CO calls, button caps, hero calls, CO calls.

River: (giant freakin' pot) 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
Hero bets, CO calls, Button raises, Hero 3 bets, CO calls, Button 4 bets, Hero and CO call.

what do you think?

I might think of just calling button's continued river aggression, but otherwise ni han.

With no read on the button (try to include them in the future, it helps to know how aggressive this guy is postflop), I might just call his river raise.

With the CO trapped between, a river 3-bet isn't bad for value here.

I see no reason to check/raise anywhere. Just keep trapping them.

Without a read I feel I have to worry about the unlikely straight on the river when he raise me. Other than that there are no hands that button beats us with here.

I don't like this very much on the river. This guy has continued aggression on the turn well after you've established you have a big hand. He is saying he has the nuts (53) and you don't believe him. Since he was on the button and limped after 8 other limpers, 53s is *almost* a reasonable hand to play. I'd still fold it, but it can't be a terrible call on his part. Hell, some people play 53o in that position.

Anyway, I can justify your turn 3-bet, but once he 4-bets it, I'm slowing down if the board doesn't pair on the river. It didn't, so either check-call or bet and call a raise. A set is a good hand, but this guy is acting like he flopped the straight. Don't keep spewing chips.

I love live poker.

Nice hand.

Unless they're known maniacs, which seems to be the case, I'm slowing down on the river. There's too much action with a potential straight and the possible slowplayed AA or even TT in there.

Turns out "maniacs" is an appropriate euphemism for your run of the mill live 3/6 idiots.

Nice hand. In my limited low-limit B&M experience, I'm jacking this pot right to the end as you did.
