Thursday nite i had a guy down to 160 chips vs my 7840 chips. He's all like "gg, well played." Exactly 6 hands later he beats me lol. I've known ppl who have claimed to comeback from like 40 chips and win, but don't believe it was heads up...?

Im not posting this as a "bad beat" story, just truly interested how many are out there that have had a similar experience.

I came back from 30 chips once but it was pure luck. Skill had nothing to do with it. I caught the most ridiculous string of cards.

I kinda felt bad for the guy.

I had 9880 v 120 once and lost.

Don't remember any spectacular comebacks, except I know I've came back several times with 300-400 vs 9600-9700.

I've also came back early from as little as 10 chips to win.

Somehow, I think that goes without saying...

A friend of mine was in a tourney online where 1st paid a seat at foxwoods 10k plus 2k cash, 2nd was $800. He won a huge hand 3 handed to get to having about a 960k-18k lead with the blinds at 7500-15000 and 2k ante or so. First hand from there, he loses Q9 to K4, next hand, loses A9 to 96, next hand the short stack folds, next hand he loses another 60/40, and he went on to lose. Had him outchipped 50-1 for a 15-1 difference in prize money.....

I had someone down to 900, it was sick, he beat my 99 with 88, my AQ with AJ, my JJ with A3, then finished me off when I pushed KQ into his AA.

speaking of coming back with very few chips, i just watched my friend come back from 10 chips in a $50 with 8 or 9 ppl still in it to win the whole thing, it was pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, I can't recall a loss... but after a huge multi-way all-in that I was not a part of, I ended up heads up in a 10+1 with T15 chips left... ended up winning.... VERY lucky though, the blinds were like 300-150, so the first few hands were automatic allin whether i liked it or not... and then when I had more than the blind, I got dealt AA and went allin... the other guy must have figured that I couldnt possibly win so many hands in a row and he called.

Very lucky.

I had a guy down to about 550 with 200/400 blinds in a Stars 18 seater, thats 550/26450, 10 hands or so later he took it down. I also won one when I was down to 20 3 handed.

There are the times where you lose with 8k vs 2k heads up, but nothing too rough.

NL 100/9 tournament. 3-handed. I have 10 chips left. And yep, I won. I came back to about even stack with the other two and we fought at 300/600 for a good 20-30 hands.
