I apologize for not having the exact hand history.
$22 SnG on PP.

SB t2200
BB t900
UTG t1900
HERO t3000

UTG folds and I have QQ on the button. Blinds are 200/400. I think I made a monumental error by pushing. I know what I was thinking, I didn't want SB to call w/ Ax if I put in 2x or 3x raise. Figured he'd fold here. Unfortunately I never thought he'd catch one of the two better starting hands (pocket Ks) I didn't improve and was knocked out on the next hand. From the penthouse to the outhouse in 2 hands. Please advise, what was the proper play?

I'd push here, you will get called down with all kinds of random gibberish from people who think you are stealing.

You're not escaping if they reraise anyway.

Lori,

Exactly what I was thinking. I replayed this hand over and over. Had I raised to t1200, I'm calling a re-raise. If SB just calls, the flop was all under cards, I'm moving in no matter what. Thanks for the confirmation! I'll just consider this an unfortunate finish.

I push here 100% of the time also. AK and I push also. KK and AA I might go for a min raise to get some action.

I actually caught A9 on the very next hand and pushed. Called by KQ and lost.

Ok, that seeems okay, especially if you were up against the other short stack.

It was a more likely leak than the original post, which is why I asked.
