Discussing your hand during a hand

I was playing on multipoker when this situation came up
On the turn the board had 2 spades and 2 herats with no possible straight
I had top 2 and with the pot at 65 i go all in for 72 on the button
The BB types " I guess Im outkicked" with UTG still to act and then folds
I think at best this is unethical and should be against the rules
What do you think? ( if it was heads up I think it fine)

Bad form, definitely. I've had this happen to me a few times, but fortunately it's never altered the outcome of the hand.

I've never bothered to check and see if any of the sites have explicit rules against this sort of table talk, but they should. They should be able to check the logs and then at least hand out a warning to the offender. Maybe a three strikes policy or something.

Poker stars doesn't let you chat when someone is all-in.

Yes, it's against the rules to talk about your hand while you're in it.

Even if it's heads up, if you go all-in, technically you can't say "don't call I have a full boat," regardless of whether or not you're telling the truth.

Both live play and online play, although I don't know of any site other than stars that remotely enforces it.

Was watching WSOP on espn. Forget the two players in the hand, but one went all in. Other guy asked him a question about what he had or something, and the guy goes "I'm all in that's all I can say. You want me to tell you my hand too?" to which the other guy goes "well, you're not allowed to" to which the other guy goes "you're right I can't."

Re live ring games:

I think it depends on the casino. I've heard there are some that don't let you talk about your hand. All the ones I've played at let you, whether you lie or tell the truth.
