Alright so drunk with one of my friends last night and he then proceeds to tell me how he always carries half a pill of viagra with him. This is in case he is too drunk or otherwise messed up (he does some drugs) to perform if he gets a girl home. We are talking a healthy 22 year old. It seems to me like this is pretty extreme. Thoughts?

i assure u its no legend, when redbull and vodka became the BIG drink like 3 yrs ago like 3 or 4 kids died from it and quite a few more had to go to the ER including a close friend of mine - and when the reason was explained to me it was one of those well DUH things that i shoulda known - so needless to say i cut WAY back on the redbull mixed with alcohol

Red Bull is caffeine and sugar. It's hardly an 'upper' like cocaine or even Ritalin. The only 'upper' effect that seriously contributes to kids getting retardedly, life-threateningly drunk off this combination is them getting the impression they can party all night and drink a ton. Really the dehydration and blood sugar spikes are probably more of an issue. But I'm sure wacki will weigh in soon, I hope he can back me up.

Which is odd cuz if I drank a redbull plain I would. I also dont get hung over when I drink redbull and Jager, yet one more reason why it kicks ass.

No Thumb is correct. Caffeine is a diuretic which can be bad news bears for drinking if overdone, but there is no evidence that RedBull+vodka kills. That is unless you are from Sweden where they fear powerlines and cancer causing cell phones.
