15/30 pp standard table
UTG raises meaning any top 20% other than probably AA and KK, which he usually slowplays from this position. He is defenitley TAG. Hero calls from bb with 7d7c.
Qs7h9s, UTG bets, Hero raises.
The idea behind this was that everyone who plays party 15/30 is used to having their AK ep raise, raised on most any flop by the guy who calls a low pp from the button. If he puts me on a flush draw he will raise most any two (even AK) or if he thinks i have a low pp (88 etc) and has AQ, JJ, etc he could easily reraise, or try and pop me on the turn, right? If he doesn't have these he will call the flop, then check/fold the turn if it doesn't help him, making me 1 big bet, whereas a checkraise on the turn (which he will of course fold to, he's smart) makes me 1.5. So is giving up this .5 worthwhile on the chance that it could make many more when he keeps betting with his AQ/JJ etc?
btw - turn was 7s and unfortunatley he check/folded.
