When you are that wide open (or one one of your size 24s are on the line).

This game is such a bore...
Worst All-Star game I've seen in a while so far.

Great Barkely quote about America's reaction to the Janet Jackson thing. He's not very smart, but at least he's candid.

I missed the Carter dunk...would that suddenly change this game from being the most boring sporting event in the history of televised sports.
I just saw Garnett dunk completely undefended.
Fairly certain I can see pretty much the same thing in the warm-ups of a regular season game.
Man these guys sure do walk a lot.

by "walk" i meant "not run".
didn't mean "travel"...but they do a lot of that too.

really all this game is proving is that the only all star game worth watching in any sport is baseballs.

I agree....and I don't really like the MLB all-star game that much either.
The all-star game was a little bit better when you had some great inter-league matchups that you wouldn't get to see in the reg.season.
It still doesn't completely suck like the other all-star games do...but it also isn't much more than an all-star love-fest get-together monster-celebration of how great the history of their sport is.

I like how they showed all the black celebrities early in th 2nd half (shortly after the country-music act) with P-Diddy and Chris Tucker, etc etc.
I can just imagine Chris Tucker's reaction while watching that cowboy act during the halftime show. Something along the lines of "WTF?? This is the NBA isn't it??"
Next year I think they should get a bunch of rappers and hip-hop artists to perform at the NHL all-star game (assuming they have one).
Kobe to Stoudamire for the reverse dunk > Carter imo
