The prize structure shows the total prize-pool as $44.1k.
Never seen that happen before..usually it automatically lists the $50k prize pool. weird. Hope they fix it.


Saw that they had 540 or players for this last week....kinda sucks.

I'm back in it this time around...feeling a certain loyalty to the event where I had my biggest single-event score. 441 players so there SHOULD be some overlay IF they get around to fixing it.
If I place in the money and they haven't fixed it then they'll most definitely be hearing from me.

I've been 3 or 4 tabling various tourneys for most of the day...but sometimes playing some ring-games.



I assume that if they don't fix the prize-pool in time that they'll pay-out the appropriate amounts after the fact.


thought i was going to have an early exit there...

got short-stacked down to 600 early

T7o in BB...5 players.
Flop T43

I try to take it with some reasonable sized bets...
guy sticks around with QJ and catches runner-runner 9-8. pops a small C/R at me on the river and I'm down to 600.


With AK later I catch an A on the flop and a K on the turn.

Board of A43K6....and some guy wakes up and forces me all-in for my last 300. Pretty committed to a pot of about 1100 by that point. I call what I'm assuming is a set (but could still be a lower 2-pair) and he turns over unimproved 77 and I'm suddenly up to $1400 when I thought I was going to be out in the first 25 minutes.


suddenly I'm back to actually caring if they are going to fix that damn prize-pool thing or not whereas for awhile in there it didn't look like it was going to effect me.

I'm on tilt. I lost half my stack with A9o to ATo. Flop Ak5, he reraised my flop bet and I called. Turn paired the 5, so I knew I could split the pot and called his big turn and river bets. Unfortunately river was T.

Down to T295... Qc9c flops 9s6c4c, I bet 175 into 200 pot, 1 caller, turn another 6, I push for 560 and get called by KK, river Ah... next hand I have AJo, and double through on J high flop against AK, sitting around T600 now.

All-in with AKo against QQ more than doubled me up to over 900, very next hand I added some chips, now 1080.

And I tripled up simultaneously on 3 table sitngo when I hit my open ender all in on the flop (I also had an overpair)!

Short stack goes all-in for 330 or so and I call (had already bet 250 afterall).

He has 33....I catch a K opn the flop...and he catches a 3.

Oh well...down to 600....

Then limp with A5s just for kicks next hand and take the pot with an A on the flop.

Back to 850.

The payouts reflected a pot of 44100 not 50K. I finished 41st and I'm wondering if they'll adjust it.

Yiikes. I would assume you'll get your money David...but they should offer you a little something extra just for the hassle (and I'm pretty sure they WON'T do that).


I was still chip-leader in he $10k guaranteed at the next break...but have taken a big nose-dive since then and am somewhere around 5th or 6th in chips with 19 players left.

I got QQ on back to back hands in BB and SB against the same guy.
First hand flop comes Q-high and he folds to my bet...I wanted to wait but I thought that would be too suspicious.

Next hand, he limps, I raise and he calls. Flop comes J53 and we go all-in and I lose to his 33. Ouch.
That took a decent chunk of my stack.


5th is $730, 4th is $900 and 3rd is $1100 and I'll be reasonably okay if I land any of those finishes.
I'm not laying down though...I'm going to try to get some chips and go for that $2700 for 1st.

Coming back from break with higher blinds so 4 or 5 of these players on life-support will be forced to make a move and/or drop-out pretty soon.

I timed-out on the first-hand back from the break and would have completed the SB with A8o but it folded me before the buttons appeared.

Two A's on the flop and then an 8 on the turn and I'm REALLY wishing I hadn't been cut-off when I was. That kinda sucked.
