Whats the most you've ever taken to the toilet?

Having just been to the toilet with my laptop with wireless internet, a guitar, an economics text book and a beer, I was wondering if I'm just a total freak or typical bloke. I mean men have always taken a newspaper to the toilet so its just a 21st century update, right?

I've taken my acoustic into the bathroom, but that was because the acoustics were good in there, not because I wanted to strum a few chords on the crapper.

I don't know but a friend of mine, that I lived with last year, once spent incredibly close to 2 hours on the toilet with just a newspaper.

For the record I was there about 25 minutes, and normally take at least one of the items, but never before all 4.

ive never ever understood y guys took soooooooo long in the bathroom and took reading materials with them....i mean how long can it seriously take?? Its either ready or not!! If ur havin that much trouble try more fiber!!

I'm usually an SSHE guy....but have since switched to Time Magazine....sometimes Cardplayer.

Next down-swing I'll probably go back to SSHE or HEFAP.

Personally, I stay in there for so long as it's where I do my best thinking. Standard operating procedure when I was in school was if I were struggling to grasp a new concept, be it acadmeic or poker, I would go ponder it on the toilet. It's the one place that was quiet, free of distractions, and was the cleanest room in the apartment. Sometimes I would even go there when I didn't need to use the room for its intended purpose.

We're not really trying to do our business for 25 minutes. Not all the time at least.

Sometimes (and a lot of these guys will figure it out when they get older) it's the only damned place in the entire house you can go to get a little peace and quiet.
