I was looking for a short handed .25/.50NL table at Paradise. All tables were full except one table with a single player. I sit down to play HU against him. We both have $50 and this is the very first hand:

Villain posts SB of .25, Hero post BB of .50

pre-flop:
Hero is dealt A /images/graemlins/diamond.gifA /images/graemlins/spade.gif
villain calls .25,hero checks

flop (2 players $1) 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif6 /images/graemlins/club.gif4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif
villain checks,hero bets $1,villain calls $1.

turn (2 players $3) A /images/graemlins/club.gif
villain checks, hero bets $2, villain raises to $4,hero raises to $12, villain raises to $48.50 (all-in)

Would anyone fold here?

I sure hope no one would fold here. 53 is the only hand that has you beat. Also, raise preflop.

You cannot fold here.

NO WAY!!! His range of hands is too wide: A2, A6, A4, 22, 66, 44, or 53 (or any 2 clubs if he just got done reading Super System). There are 16 ways for him to have 53 and 30 ways (cumulative) to have any of the others, so the odds are against 53.

Raise preflop (no one respects someone who sits down and raises right away anyways) and definitely do not fold the second nuts heads up.

Yeah, I actually think they remove the fold button when a hand like this comes up. Or maybe they do one of those things where you try to click it and it disappears.

This is a wonderful feature of Party skins. Whenever you want to fold a trash hand, you have to click the fold button three or four times, just to make sure! However, if you accidentally push it when you're holding a good hand, it will take the first click!

As for the hand, it's a call every time.

That would be the worst fold i have ever seen if you did.
