Hello,

I'd really appreciate it if someone could analyze
this and tell me what they think of this play.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (7 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

SB ($29.20)
BB ($32.75)
UTG ($20.05)
MP1 ($40.90)
MP2 ($5.70)
Hero ($22.20)
Button ($16.45)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.25</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $2.25</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, UTG folds, Hero calls $1.

Flop: ($5.10) 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $1.5</font>, Hero calls $1.50.

Turn: ($8.10) A/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">Button bets $2</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $18.45</font>, Button calls $10.70 (All-In).

River: ($39.25) 6/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $39.25

Our game had been very loose, and my opponent
had been to, and with my ace pairing on the
turn, with the nut flush draw a possiblity,
I thought it a good opportunity to double up.
Was this a really bad play on my part, or
is it just part of the game?

Thank you in advance for the help.
Keith.

I don't think I push yet, because he just re-raised...he's not going anywhere.

I don't think you played it horribly though. Be careful raising with AJ though. The only reason I don't mind it here is because of decent position and the fact it's only 7 handed.

Call the turn and check call or check fold the river unless you make the flush. AJ is not a strong hand esp. against a preflop reraise.
