Cap the turn. Call the river if he leads, bet if checked to.

I didn't cap the turn because I was hoping the BB would call, which he did. Should I have tried to eliminate opponents there?

Cap the turn. You can afford to be wrong more often with the 3rd player in the pot. The only play on the river is to call imo, because we can't count on the 3rd player to call a raise and we hate getting 3-bet.

He already called 2 cold once, he will do it again. You want to make the play that wins the most money, if it eliminates opponents, so be it. Since you didn't I can't see raising the river but the turn should have been a cap as the others said.

Though BB cold-called the flop, you lost SB and UTG+1 with the double bet. I don't see why you wouldn't just call the flop to get more people involved in the pot, you've got equity for sure that way.

Raising is great. He got more money in the pot by raising and with a OESD+flushdraw he has about 50% equity.

Thanks for the feedback all. Here's what happened (TwoSheds called it right).

River: (16 BB) 4/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
BB checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, BB folds.

Final Pot: 18 BB

MP2 has 9c Td (three of a kind, tens).
Hero has Jh 9h (flush, jack high).
Outcome: Hero wins 18 BB.
