View Full Version : Is it necessary to "change gears" when playing PP 25&50NL?

I would think not. But whenever I try to "auto-pilot" 3 or 4 tables I end up getting crushed. I don't think I play any differently then when playing 1 or 2 tables (where I consistently win). Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If by changing gears you mean playing differently depending on what type of players are sitting at your table, then yes this should be done at all levels.

If by changing gears you mean mixing up your play to be more deceptive, I would have to say no.

I assume you mean tighten/loosen up and tighten/loosen up your PFRs. For the most part no. If your table becomes very tight, just find a new table.
