After playing like fifteen of those PPM IV SNG qualifying tournaments and not winning a damn one, I'm heading up to Caesars to take out my frustration on the 10/20 tables. Hopefully I still remember how to play Limit as my SNG play has gone down the toilet in recent days.

Had another strong session. Will post a trip report with some hands I had some questions on...right after I take the wife to Cracker Barrel for some breakfast. President's Day rocks.
I always have a lot of trouble with the PPM sng's too. Are there any cheap hotels around caesar's (or do they have a cheap rate?)

There is a new hotel just off Interstate 64 exit but I can't remember the chain. There is a Holiday Inn at the same exit.
There is no poker room rate to my knowledge at Caesar's IN.
I live nearby so I don't pay much atention to Hotels.

Caesars is 100 bucks and well worth it compared to
Holiday Inn's rate of 85.00, I told them they are nuts
to charge 85 when for another 15 I can stay at Caesars.
Motel 6 is west on 64 about 5 to 8 miles, tell them you
want the Caesars rate for 40.00, not too bad.

Seems like there is a Fairfield Inn or something of the like right off the exit in New Albany aswell.
Oh well, off to the office for some 5/10

Get a coonection card at caesers. They'll send you coupons every month for comp hotel stays (no weekends /images/graemlins/frown.gif )
Nice clean rooms, great water pressure too!

Did you get the free room offers just for poker room play or did you have to run a few Benjamins through the tables/machines?

Its all about the Benjamins. Comps for poker players suck at Caesar's IN.

I do play some blackjack, so that may be a source of some comp love, but the coupons come in the mail like crazy. I've got friends that hardly ever even go to the casino that get them too.
Non-weekend rooms are pretty much free there, and if I remember correctly, they're only about $40 anyway.

I'm with Steamboatin, Poker Room comps blow...
$9 to the Music ass Deli or Cleo's... Blah
I think they should do just like they do on the table games, swipe you at the cage for your buy-in, re-ups, etc..
That would be alot better than the current system.

something tells me they'd want a much bigger rake.

10% up to $6 bucks on weekends should cover it.
