I am looking to play poker over the summer hopefully and not have to work at a "real" job since I hate it. I would make about $12 an hour there with 40 hours a week. I was just wondering what limit I would have to be playing at to be at least equivalant to this, with rakeback and all included. I am currently playing 4 tbls of 2/4 for about 2 BB/100 for any needed info. Thanks in advance

Just keep your real job even though you hate it. It will make your life a lot easier.

If you were already making more than $12/hr you wouldn't have to ask this.

You cannot play poker 40 hours / week. It's not like a job where you're only working your brain half the time and socialising / goofing off during your free time. You will need to continually focus for 4-6 hours at a time and not tilt due to suckouts or cold carded.

You also need to be making significantly more so that it averages out to $12 / hr @ 40 hr / week.

i doubt you're beating 2/4 for 2bb/100 if you can't do the math to figure out the solution to your problem.
