Yes. Any ace is IMO playable in this position, but you must play fairly well. By that I mean you should be able to win the pot a fair percentage of the times by betting ace high in the right situations and make opponents lay down a lot of non pair hands.

When it's heads up or 3 handed, you need to defend your big blind a lot more than playing full ring game. Ax is definately playable. Kx may even be good is the button is a loose raiser.
