This post is too on-topic to be in OOT.

i disagree. i don't think it would fit in the wpt, etc. section.

i dunno, i'd seriously consider some sound canceling headphones. Sometimes the sound of a hundred people shuffling chips in a card room can get annoying.

if he's playing a 10k buyin event at least once a month and plays 100-200 on stars, it seems like he could afford to have a rat gnaw that off his face.

keller has contributed to the forums in the past and im sure will continue to do so. i think the least we could do is show him some respect.

So...do you not like Keller because he's overweight or because he has more money in his coat pockets than you'll ever have in your life? Just wondering, cause you seem kind of spiteful even though he seems like a good guy a as far as I know hasn't done anything to you.

I'm afraid you're asking for too much maturity from a few posters in this thread. I've learned rather than get frustrated when I encounter some of these names, I just lower my expectations.

I find it interesting that posters in on this site would pick on Thunder (a very nice guy BTW) for the way he looks. I'm guessing this must mean there is a shortage of mirrors in the homes of many OOT posters.

I also refer you to a certain recent [censored]-erotic photo of several 2+2ers in a jacuzzi. It makes it look like regular workouts, haircuts costing more than $5, and the sun's rays, are all kryptonite to top poker players.

Amen to that. I think anyone who wants to criticize someone for their looks needs to have their own picture as their avatar.

Seriously, I've said before and will say again, all of you under-21-ish-or-thereabouts posters who bash people in these threads, are going to realize eventually how shitty that is.

Good response, that was funny. Thanks for making me laugh. I'm getting cranky in my rapidly increasing age (at least compared to most on here...)

Still stand by my last post though.

I've seen him in person, and yes, he is a big guy, but not nearly as big as that picture makes him look. He's not some 900 lb monster.

Nolan, I am in complete agreement with both the content and the tone of your first post.

It's just one of those things you sort of can't expect these guys to understand until they get out in the world a little bit.

I don't even mean for that to sound condescending or preachy; it's just a sad fact of life.

Trust me, horribly ugly people are just as capable of recognizing ugliness in others as anyone else. Whether I'm Adonis or Star Jones, I can still say, "Thomas Keller is a fatass with a hideous, hideous mole right in the middle of his head," and be completely right.

Actually, I'd rather point out the idiocy of people saying, "Well, how fat are YOU?!" than belittle Keller.
