View Full Version : Facial Hair...
Define your facial hair...
I'm somewhere in limbo. I haven't shaved in a while so its kinda becoming a beard, though not really yet, but its more than just stubble. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do about this but I am considering letting it grow for some decent amount of time.
p.s. having a life that let's you go a week or more w/o shaving pretty much rules.

I'm pretty lazy, so I've decided to go full on mountain man. I haven't cut my hair since the last time I shaved it which was in September, I think. I've had a goatee for quite a while now and it's getting pretty gnarly, and I've started letting the full beard grow in as well.
I look mean.
Ok, I probably just look shaggy and unkempt, but damnit I'm still saying mean.

bearded stubble. only shave the neck clean at this point. My fiance wants me to look like that dude from The Notebook, so I may grow a full beard... It was a lot easier to look like him when it didn't require long hair and a full beard.

My normal configuration is with just sideburns, but lately, I'm on the shave once a week plan and right now I've got a pretty good beard going - it grows fast. The availability of this plan is one of the many great features of working from home.

I've got just a goat. I shave my head everyday so shaving everything else is easy.

I used to have sideburns and a soul patch, but now I'm clean shaven.

Isn't it about time the mustache comes back into style?

I'm still working on the whole "even facial hair growth" thing. Which I really don't care about, because I'll just shave it off then too.

i don't have any, but i don't like any bodies of facial hair that aren't connected to other bodies of facial hair. for example, mustache = bad. goatee = bad. mustache + goatee = ok.

I have an odd chin line of hair that I am undecided about despite this being the 3rd or 4th time I've have it.

A goatee is the whole moustache+chin aread covered in hair and connected. Just the moustache is a moustache, just the chin area is something else, but I think you're misunderstanding what a goatee is.
Or I am.

i can grow a pretty nice beard in about two weeks, but my mustache area doesn't grow in very well. so it looks like a i have a full beard with a peach fuzz mustache. pretty ridiculous looking. this keeps me shaving every day.

clash is right.
I call mine a goat, but it's really just the chin + the soul patch. Moustaches suck.

I stand corrected. What I thought was a goatee is in fact a Van Dyke (http://www.goatee.org/index.php?set_albumName=styles&option=com_gallery& Itemid=66&include=view_album.php).

I shave once a week sometimes twice a week. If I shaved twice a day, I would still look like I need a shave. I have a 5 O clock shadow at 10:00am.
Right now I have a goatee, however after a week of not shaving it looks more like a full beard.

That is nasty, are you in 9th grade?
I have a beard, but probably won't once the warm weather comes back unless the girlfriend makes me keep it. I do shave my neck, though, because it looks dumb and it's too damn itchy as it grows out.

I haven't held a razor to my face in 5 years. trimming > shaving. I let all my head hair grow for a year a few years back (the pic in the posters' pictures thread was toward the end). Since then I keep it so fresh and so clean. I fear I'd look ridiculous if I shaved.
WTF is wrong with a mustache???
