what is the proper way to ask the table if they want to throw in another game?

i usually play in an o/8 game at my local casino. most of the people there are old people and i recognize at least 2 people at the table every time i play. so how would i go about asking the table if they wanted to throw in some limit hold'em? should i suggest it to the dealer or the floorman, or just ask the table?

there are many casinos that simply won't allow it.

well.. i talked to the floorman and he says he doesn't have a problem with it as long as no one at the table denies it.
