Online 2/4. everyone folds to me in the cutoff and I have Qd Jh. In my estimate there is < 50% chance the blinds will fold to any raise. How would you play this?

These type of hands have been losers for me during my slump and I'm wondering if it's just bad luck or poor hand selection. In this particular hand I raised and the BB called.

*** FLOP *** : [ 8c Kd Jd ]

Checked to me and I bet. He folded. SO this time it worked, but is this just results-oriented thinking?

You played the hand fine. It's a reasonable stealing hand in this spot and I would open it for a raise. Obviously on the flop you have an autobet. Next hand.

You played the hand fine -- don't let a bad run stop you from making plays you feel are the 'right' plays...

Easy preflop raise. Well played.

Rasing is better than calling IMHO.

I raise also but QJ is about the lowest I go in the CO.
