I recall reading in one of the Sklansky books that in games where the small blind is 2/3 of the big blind, it is correct to call with virtually any hand.

With this in mind, I played recently in my first half-kill game. I had the big blind during several half-kill pots. All of these hands saw 3-4 people limp in before the action got to me, and I completed the $6 bet each time with horrid hands. Was this the right play, given that I usually had 11:1 or 14:1 odds?

It just felt really strange to voluntarily put extra money in the pot on a hand like K2 offsuit. How good or bad of a play is this? How much EV would I give up by folding something like K2o for only 1/3 of a bet?
