Why did you bet out the turn for? I would probably call down his 3-bet.

Unless SB is a maniac, looks like you're drawing to two outs here. I would check, fold the turn. If SB is a LAG I would check call him down.

because in my experiences players at 1/2 love to slowplay their trips or boats...so i went with my gut, thought i had the best hand, and bet out. ok, i got raised...i'm not going to fold here. i'll just call down. anyone else find this acceptable?
