Final Pot: $148

I received AA twice in the next 20 hands after it..so I raised to $10 after there were 4 limpers and all folded both times. Kind of frustrating.

I don't see how this board is very dangerous. After 4 limpers my move is to make it 8xBB to go. That does stink though.

As for the hand:

Pre-flop: 10 would be preferable, but 8 is fine if the table is somewhat tight.
Flop: Severely massive-underaised, I think that making it 30 to go would've been best.
Turn: Severely massive-under bet again, 50-60 would've been good here.
River: Value betting this river might be player dependent. I'm so passive on rivers though.

With 3 other players in the hand calling that PF raise, I'd say its possible you are up against Tens full and much less likely quads. If the table was tight, I don't think you would be up against A6. When you raise the flop and don't get re-raised, I would think that you'd be good. Since the flush comes runner-runner I wouldn't be too afraid of it, since I can't image many hands someone would be in at that point that would make the flush. You have the K /images/graemlins/heart.gif so the only possibility is AQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif

But I don't think AQ /images/graemlins/heart.gif calls your flop raise.

I wouldve bet and raised a little more on each street but your play isnt bad. I might or might not check the river.

Ill add one thing. I like to raise more than 4BBs preflop (even without limpers) Ive had my big pairs busted by sets much less often since I started doing this. If youre not getting called, pick a strategic time and raise to $12 and then show 89s or something like that. Believe me, you'll start getting more calls with bigger raises.

the guy turns over 78 of hearts for a runner runner flush. I don't know why he called the flop honestly--just a gutshot?

After the flop he has 20% chance of beating you. His call is off, but not by much. Why not re-raise to $30?

Sounds like he made the right raise amount then.. not trying to be funny, but on what I consider to be a drawless flop for the most part I think raising too big is counterproductive. If UTG+1 had AT, you just might chase him off then. Change the texture to T86 with 2 hearts, then I raise a lot bigger.

I definitely would have bet bigger on the turn though... at least $50.

I dunno, I see this flop as classic way ahead/way behind. I'm comfortable with playing a medium pot here.

Of course, I'd also make the same exact play with TT... except "value betting" the river and hoping he raised me.
