I doubt either of them has KK or QQ (would have seen action preflop). 33 seems unlikely. I can't imagine someone calling a raise with K3 or Q3 so he would have to have a3d for the 3 to help him. Of course this is 20+2 where some people play any 2 suited. KQ is the only likely hand that that you are behind. Someone would have to have nerves of steal to play AA like this. I would expect to be ahead most of the time here. Not sure if I would make the call though in 20+2 game.

I think it's a weak fold. As already noted, pretty much the only hand you're really scared of is AA, QQ and KQ. Unless the player is exceptionally odd, I see KQ trying to get it allin PRF and I would have expected more action from AA/QQ preflop. The push on the turn smells like an overplayed AQ, KJ or something similar or, more likely, a flush draw. I don't see this fold as being profitable in the long run. It's always possible the SB has something like A3 or maybe even 33, but it's on the slim side and you can't go around life being scared of monsters in the closet.

yeah i agree with both of you now in retrospect...but for some reason it wasnt that clear while i was playing. I think i might have been playing scared due to a semi bad run im in right now (cashed in 1 of last 10). obviously playing scared isnt helping me to get out of the slump. i just couldnt really imagine that he would have cold called 5x BB in SB w/o a strong hand plus the call of the big flop raise, thats what really had me worried. as it turned out he had Q8 and i wouldve busted him. but the short stack ended up getting a flush on the river so it made me feel alittle better.
