I play on Paradise Poker at micro limits (.05/.10) but saw the PartyFifty promotion and had to sign up.

So I signed up for the PartyFifty promotion the other day. I received confirmation today that the money had been deposited into my Party account. Log in to Party poker and sure enough the money is there. I'm like WOW!

Unfortunately, PP's smallest stakes are .5/1 and I hate their user interface but I say what the [censored], I might as well play a hand with my free fifty at the .5/1 tables. I sit down and post blinds. The first hand sucks and I fold immediately, the next hand is 67s. I'm in middle position and I limp in. A player in late position raises. I decide to call since so many players called his raise. The flop is 667!! I flopped a full house. My only objective now is to turn this into the biggest pot I can. I raise, the LP player re-raises, I cap. The turn is an A. No scare there unless he's representing pocket AA. Raise, Re-raise, cap. River is A. Now I have 6 full of A's.

I win the pot, $29!!! I quickly left that table as it was above my head and cashed out to my NetTeller account and deposit the money into my Paradise account to play at the .05/.10 tables. Not bad for bonus whoring!

I'm pretty new to it myself, but I'm pretty sure that this is considered your first-time deposit. Don't quote me on that though. There isn't very much information on the partyfifty page and I thought it was a hoax, but signed up anyways - expecting SPAM, no SPAM and 50 dollars later I realize it's legit.

Nice way of advertising without blatantly doing it. You didn't cash out right after because you can't cash out without clearing 125 raked hands.

Reef - I'm new to this so I don't really know the difference. I saw fifty dollars for free and since I don't play on Party, I said WTF, might as well see what I can do with it. Can you explain the difference between this and a rakeback deal to me?

My bad cain. I just thought you had to clear the bonus before you could cash out. Guess I was mistaken.

What if you do this deal, and then after you've cleared it then you cash out, tell Party to cancel your account, and then re-sign up with rakeback?

Yeah, I'd reccomend you keep playing simply for the reason that the strategy difference isn't any different from .05-.1 to .5-1, although with 50$ you're underolled at this level.

I have $70 from my Paradise account combined with $70 from this cashout gives me $140. That's not even close to 200BB. What do you think? Should I move to .25/.50?
