Playing online where I have the option (unlike in the casino) has made me realize how much I love the four-color deck. Anyone else find this?

If you haven't tried it, give it a shot, you may like it.

I tried it, but got all confused.

Yeah, it takes a little while to get used to it.

It's surprising how soon you get used to it. The 4-color deck straight up rocks.

It took me approximately no time at all to get used to. Clubs are green and diamonds are blue and this is a fact of life to me. When someone tells me he has two red aces, I think he means he's cheating.

I switched when I started playing online stud. I can't imagine ever switching back.

Three greatest inventions of all time.

1. Beer.
2. Nepalese Bud.
3. The four colour deck.

When I occasionally replay a hand on pokertracker playback I have to look twice before I recognise it.

I tried this once and hated it, now using it again, I strangely like it... 4-color deck for me from now on.

I agree... 4 color decks are one of the best inventions of all time.

I started using it when I was multitabling two tourneys and one was Omaha...I thought it'd be easier to focus on hand strength -

I just got sucked in by it - though I have to have THOSE 4 colors - Planet once had orange diamonds and some other color for clubs and I hated it - I need the blue and green....LOL

I just switched on a suggestion from this thread, and wow it really has improved the cards I am getting /images/graemlins/wink.gif So I think I will keep it.
