This is from a 50 + 5 at party.

Q: I am check raised on a heart board, with black Aces in my hand. fold, call, or move in?

My reasoning for going over the top: If he had a flush its not likely he would check raise. More likely he has a flush draw or perhaps top pair / overpair. I am probably ahead on the flop so I gave him a price to draw.

I thought about calling and moving in on the turn if a flush card doesnt hit, but I totaly reject that play:
My hand is not likely to improve, while his hand probably has more outs to become the best hand. other than that, I can win it right there pushing.

/images/graemlins/wink.gif I love that guy...

Question is if it applies to that flop as well...

The nice part about that play is that your flop bet looked like a continuation bet. You are inviting a lot of hands to check raise you there.

I push every time with that action, for the exact reasons you explained.

PS- My opponent usually has A-T with the ten of hearts, makes his gut shot straight on the turn, and improves to a 10-high flush on the river. 5% of your SNGs are going to end with a 9th or 10th... this is how they happen.
