View Full Version : turning into a loose callingstation

I know that preflop was loose. Normally I muck KQ preflop against a raise, but this table was loose and rather aggressive and I'd seen quite a lot of "substandard" preflop raises.

What about the rest of the hand where I turned into a calling station? The raising war on the flop...should I have found a fold after the CO reraise. (the pot was getting big).

What about the turn and river?

Fold preflop.

3-bet the flop. You have a very strong hand. By 3-betting, you can see if BB or CO caps, which will help you play the rest of the hand.

Turn and river look OK. I think this is a good spot to go for overcalls on the river, although you didn't get them.

I agree with the 3-bet for lack of a better plan, but his hand is anything but very strong.
