$215 sit and go and you have 97o in the SB. The blinds are 25-50 and you and the BB both have 800 in chips. You don't really know anything about the BB. What is your general play here?

Well, since I've played 0 $215 SNGs I'll give this a shot. I also assume that it has been folded up to your SB (although this won't impact my answer anyway).
I fold.

Yes it's been folded to my SB.
I have 1000 times as much experience at the $215s as Yugo, and I would fold. Therefore folding is correct, because 1000 times is a lot.

I'll show you 1000 times better the next time you jump on one of my tables! Biatch!
Seriously. If Ilya says it's a fold, then it must be a fold.

Well ok I say to fold so I guess I win this little informal poll.

good that you win your friendly debate
(and your friend is very wrong to call)

calling is by far worse than anything else you can do. a much better argument can be made for raising than calling. I still vote fold, but I suppose if you had a tight enough BB a raise wit any 2 in this spot could be profitable.

I'm with strassa here.
And my vote is about 80/20 fold/raise.

I don't think that's true at all. I'll go all-in the majority of the time here (depending on the player in the BB) if the stacks are still 800-800 and the blinds are 75-150 or so.

You might want to check w/ Irieguy & Aleo; I don't think that 1000 trials constitutes a statiscally-relevant sample.
And, bye-the-way, you don't actually have 1000 x as much experience as Yugo; you have exactly the same amount of experience, repeated one thousand times /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I just busted out my highschool math textbook, and it seems that 1000 X 0 = 0.
Can someone confirm this please?
On another note, even if the 9-7 were sooooted, I'd still fold like a cheap suit (and I have 10,000 times the 215 experience of Yugo).
1000 x 0 may = 0 but come on, man, give me a break! a 1000 is still a lot.

It's a fold. Call and raise are not terrible options, but why get involved with a drawing hand out of position at this early a level?
Scale of 1-10, fold is 8, call is 4, raise is 2.
I take that back, raise is a terrible option.

I fold, but I might call 97s or something similar I don't feel like raising with in level 3.
