What is the longest you have gone? I will skip a night on a fairly frequent basis, but tonight it looks like two in a row.

I don't see myself getting to bed anytime soon either as I have a 1pm tee time.

This thread has been done before, but it's a good one.

I believe my record is around 75-80 hours.

It's not something I recommend.

*NOTE*
No, I wasn't on speed.

Hahaha I was confused that you sent me an IM this morning at 5:30 almost like you were expecting me to be awake

Oh yeah, I mean with that being only 12 hours away you might as well just stay up the whole night.

The longest I've gone without sleep is like 30-32 hours.

Most I have done was like 50 hours when I wasn't on speed. On speed it was like 30 hours. Guess I didn't do enough speed. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have an essay due by 9 that is 13 pages, so... if i go to sleep after that i will be in a coma and not make my tee time. ya i wasnt expecting you to be awake, but it was better than writing the essay thats for damn sure...

I think it was somewhere around 72 hours. It was during finals last semester and by the end of it, I fell asleep standing up twice, in the middle of a conversation with someone once, and another time, I actually passed out walking to the bathroom.

Somewhere around 45-55 hours, but even going one night without sleep sucks (for me).

Routinely a full day, the most I think was just slightly over two, which I've done a few times. It's not a fun ordeal. A few years back, maybe 3-4, when I was in 8th grade I ended up staying up around 2 days in the summer. Well, I started the shower and went into the kitchen while it was warming up. I walked into my room to watch TV & forgot about the shower. I came back into the kitchen like 20 minutes later, heard the shower & seriously thought some broke into my house (to take a shower apparently) & flipped out.

Heh.

Fifty something, one semester in college I had five finals in two days. I basically did it for fun (and spite, lol). I didn't need to cram for any of the finals (just review), but a number of my friends were engineering students and were doing some hardcore studying both nights (different people pulling all nighters both nights) so I hung out with them and stayed up the whole time.

These days I have a very strange sleep schedule where I'll stay up for like 20-30 hours on a fairly regular basis and then sleep for like 10-15.

40 hours is my longest, but I pull all nighters just about once a week.

I was gonna say I was going this drug free but just realized I am on my 5th 16oz Sobe No Fear containing 66gs of sugar, some vitamins, taurine, and enough caffeine that they have to post a warning on the can telling pregnant women not to drink it.

I'm pulling an all nighter right now. Funny thing is I've only been up for 14-15 hours but I've taken 600mg of caffiene. I'm a little bitch.

I wouldn't need anything to stay awake if I was playing counter strike though, but calculus.....zzzzzzzzzzzzz......

Longest was about 65 stress filled hours or so. The last 4 or so were spent driving back to Seattle from some lake on the Washington peninsula. That sucked. A couple of friends and I had thrown a weekend long outdoor party at the lake.

They called it a week, but it was only 5 days/4 nights. Of course, by the end I was so pumped up on adrenaline I went out drinking on the fifth night.

I myself have only stayed up for possibly like 2 days in a row. I thought I'd just add to this post that the world record is going well over 14 days without any sleep. It was done by a 17 year old. After the 14 days his body finally gave out and he passed out. He of course was fine with no side effects once he got some sleep.

I did 57 hour without sleep in Vegas while getting very drunk 3 times during this span. I finally fell asleep in the Mandalay Bay sports book halfway through the early NFL games.
I had been awake since 5 AM eastern time. The only stimulant that I had was Vegas and gambling.

I'm kind of a little bitch, the longest Ive gone is about 36 hours

and why would you golf on like 2 days of no sleep? Just do it some other time and get some sleep, its not like you are gunna play any good anyway, or even enjoy it

I don't do the whole no sleep thing. Maybe I've stayed up for 25 hours before. Maybe. Usually around 20 I start to shake uncontrolably, and I figure that's a good time to go to bed. 18-20 is normal for me, but I highly doubt I've ever even come close to 30 hours.

Tests aren't worth staying up that long for. Neither are papers. Just turn it in, and get what you get.

I've done around 40 hours before via very artificial means and couldn't take it anymore. I dunno how you could do 72.

Well, lets just say I liked to go real fast in the early 90's.
