Ok, so I'm beating myself up all night about not value betting enough when checked to, and see others not doing it and laughing, when this hand comes up. I thought real hard about betting this river. Turns out I was wrong. Bet anyway? You only lose one bet to a check-raise... But this river was a terrible card for my set. The SB played the hand very strangely. I had no idea what he could have had. His flop check-3bet suggested a big overpair, but it wasn't reaised preflop. Cap the flop? Cap the turn? Bet the river?

A read on this guy would help a lot.
I would have capped the flop and turn.
That is a really close river decision (some sort of read would tilt me in one direction) IMO so it probably doesn't make that big of a difference either way.

Cap flop and turn.

Anyone c/c or b/f river?

Bet/fold might work fine at 1/2, as they probably aren't bluffing, but when you start reaching limits like 3/6, I bet people bluff c/r at this river more often and I'd be more inclined to call. But I'm not there yet.
