Interpoker $.50/1

Not much of a read on the villain, but I get the impression that he's loose pre-flop with out much raising, but basically weak/tight/passive post-flop. Because of that, I figured that his aggression on the flop automatically meant ovepair, but since he was fairly weak/tight, I figured that I had some folding equity. Anyone like this push?

Relevant stack sizes:
Hero: $43
Villain: $63.50

Pre-flop: Hero is dealt 9 /images/graemlins/spade.gifT /images/graemlins/spade.gif UTG
Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 (villain) raises to $3, 5 folds, SB calls, BB folds, Hero calls, UTG+1 folds.

Flop ($11): 9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
SB checks, Hero bets $8, villain raises to $16, SB folds, Hero raises $40 and is all-in...

I can't see another line. Some of your outs are probably dead though.

I don't like limping there or calling the raise. You aren't very deep. However, since you did do both, I think that your line is perfect. I put him on an overpair and you're basically 50-50 here.

Oh, he raised PF. Yeah, this is good.

I understand about the pre-flop call being questionable, but my thinking was that I'd already limped, 9Ts is one of my most profitable hands, there was already $9 in the pot when it got back to me and only another $2 to call, so I figured I'd take a flop.

It's perfectly reasonable if you play SC's well, but I just don't like being out of position to the raiser. You played the flop perfectly though.

Yeah, I definitely think that playing drawing hands out of position is one of the biggest leaks in my game, but, and I should have mentioned this, the table was pretty loose and wasn't very aggressive pre-flop, so most hands were multi-way and limped.
