I cap the flop and call down if he leads the turn. Don't include results.

EDIT: Actually, I missed the read of LAG. How much of a LAG? what are his aggression numbers, and PFR%? THis may or may not change my decision.

I think you played it fine. It looks like the only real question here is whether or not to put in a raise on the turn or just start calling down instead.

With the LAG description of MP2 coupled with the gritty, pit-bull like determination of MP3's "never say die" attitude subsidizing each bet, I think putting in a raise is fine.

I'm just a rookie of 6 months, but my experience has been if someone is willing to cap PF, they usually have something really good, AA,KK,QQ,JJ, AKs.

After the flop, and the K falls, I'd be worried about KKK, and would probably try to raise once, but if they hang on, I'd slow way down... You probably can't get away from this hand, but you don't have to make it a huge loss if villian does have a K or T pocket pair...

I know this isn't standard 2+2 play, but I find I get raped if I get too aggressive with AA, it's a great starting hand, but when 2 people won't go away after constant raises and reraises, it starts feeling very weak... And more often than not, I'm crying all the way to the river, where I get spanked by a set/2 pair.

I look forward to the insight from the more seasoned contributors here, take what I say with a huge grain of salt...

YMMV,
Francis

MP3 is a good player.

Edit: I'm with Jaxup on capping the flop and calling down from there. You have to lose a lot of bets on a hand like that, and there's no getting around it.

I think putting an aggressive player on exactly KK or TT after one flop raise is too narrow. He's going to have AK on that flop just as often as he has KK or TT.

Also to the OP, I thought you capped the flop originally, which is what I would have done.

Cap this preflop. Other than that I think it's fine. You can't fold this hand. Against a LAG I like the turn raise.

Ya, cap flop. Then you can safely call down if he comes out firing on the turn.

I'm not playing 0.5/1 yet, but the fact that there are players like MP3 makes me think I should be. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
