This one was interesting. Could I have gotten more bets out of them? I have the second nuts, only losing to the case 4. My check-3bet on the flop probably put the fear of god into them (if they were paying attention), but then the turn hits me clear over the head, and I'm wondering if I should slow down and let the other aggressor take control. However I reasoned that they probably don't have an ace since I've got 3 of em locked up, and I'd hate to lose bets here so I just bet out. Unfortunately I'm not raised. Then that 3rd 4 on the river was a weird card to see, since I couldn't use it. But if I stopped to think that anyone with a mere pair now has a full house, or a pocket pair over 88 has a "good" full house, maybe I should consider check-raising. But no, I didn't want to lose any bets so I just bet out. What do you think?
