Holy [censored] there are way too many hands. We will never be able to get any discussions going on with the influx. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

What is your question about in this hand? This is straight forward ABC poker.

just wondering if I was wrong to bet into the flop with the A, and then again ont he turn.

You are in good shape when all he is doing is calling. There is no need to slowdown/think about it unless he gives you a reason too. Him calling means he has 2 cards.

Nope.

And actually, when the second A comes you can sort of breathe a sigh of relief because it makes an A in the hand unlikely.

It's still an Ace, and Aces stick to people like glue (they can't fold them), but the second Ace on the table means it is unlikely you're up against an Ace.

If he didn't bet/raise you with an ace he lost money.

Just needed reassurance. Turns over AJo, what a loser :[

A read on BB would be a good thing. You played it just fine. Did BB end up having an A?

Just be thankful he didn't raise you, you got away cheap. Get him back next hand.

Seeing that he cold-called with AJo, this guy is obviously a LP mofo. In this situation this guy could have had anything. Tough lose, but well played.

I don't think s/he is very LP, just passive. Wouldn't you play AJo for 1 bet in late position? Sucks they didn't bet their hand tho.

No, radar, I'd raise it. No raises in front of me implies that I have the best Ax combo in the orbit, and it's definitly worth a raise.

I'm assumeing my notes on hero say good player, so no raise.
Now if hero was a lag, that's a different story......

Shill,

What do you think about a check on the river in the event villian has a weak Ace that he doesn't want to raise with but can't get away from?
