Well, I got spanked with KK. I've been playing some $50 buyin No-limit hold'em with some success, but I'm still a newbee to the game.

Blinds are .25/.50 and I come in with a $3 raise. (I've been raising without holding big hands lately and I'm finally getting some action instead of just stealing the pot. Are these raises bad? They seem to get people gambling and big pots built. Of course, I ditch them if I get called after a pot size Flop bet and I'm bluffing.)

Back to the hand. All fold to my raise except for an other "gambler" in middle position who raises $13 all-in. He gets cold-called by a player to his imidiate left. Everyone else folds to me. I have $50 left and go all-in to try to push out the cold-caller. Cold-caller calls my all in bet.

Board comes: 4s, 9s, 5c, 2s, Qs

Me: Kc,Kh

Cold-caller: (Ac,Ad)

Gambler: (5s,7s) /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif

Well I had the Gambler beat pre-flop, and new respect for the Cold-caller.
