I've never been to Atlantic City before and was planning on going down next weekend (2/26) and was wondering what games people recommended to play. I've seen that a lot of people play 5/10 at the Taj, 6/12 at the Borgata (or 3/6) and 4/8 or 6/12 at the Tropicana; I usually play .50/1 up to 2/4 on Party and Paradise and have a pretty decent winrate, I've also done OK at the 2/4 and 4/8 games at Foxwoods the few times I've gone. Is there a consensus on the softest games in the 3/6 - 5/10 range on the weekends?

Thanks for suffering a relative fool,

The 6/12 at Borgata can be hit or miss. I hear all the great things about it on this board, but the two sessions I've played, the games weren't as awesome as people say.

The Trop 4/8 was excellent. When I went late saturday night, I got a seat in 15 minutes, compared to hours at Borgata, and it was the best game I've ever played in. 2+2er DrewOnTilt and I, and a revolving cast of 8 AWFUL players. Cold-calling 3 bets after UTG limping 23s was common.

I haven't played at the Taj, but I hear the 5/10 runs from rock garden to decent.

I find that the 3/6 and 5/10 games at the TAJ are good on the weekends until after midnight. Then they start to get a little tougher. I usually go down with my girlfriend. She plays 2/4 and I play 5/10 till the game dies and I get a move and play 2/4 with her until we decide to call it a night.
