Can we put a disclaimer on CCx whenever he picks a Philly based team....
...just kidding. I'm a Big East (UCONN) fan, but Nova looks a little up and down this year. Why are you sure about this? Thanks
lol, well so far on this board i've been pretty right good with Philly teams ATS so you can put a disclaimer if you want /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/crazy.gif
i think that Villanova dropped a game they were sure to lose on Saturday with Syracuse coming in off rough stretch where they lost to Pitt, barely beat ND and then lost to UConn - Syracuse needed a win in the worst way to stay darling in the pollsters eyes...Villanova wrong place, wrong time - besides that game Villanova has hung with some very good teams this year (lost barely to BC, UConn and Notre Dame - destroyed Kansas and West Virginia) - the reason i brought up the Syracuse game is because Villanova needs a win tonite to get back into good graces with the pollsters after being knocked out of the top 25 - seton hall has beat roughly zero tough teams this year, and lost pretty handily whenever they faced a talented team like Villanova - 'Nova got itself back on track with an absolute demolishing of a terrible Bucknell team this week, and I think they'll roll into NJ and do the same to Seton Hall tonight
I'm adding:
PHO -2 vs. DAL first Quarter

I'm on Villanova as well, although got them at -5.
Seton Hall has had problems with agressive defenses this year and it look likes Randy Foye is a go for V-town.
Look for Villanova to control the boards as well.
Yup, if VU can keep Seton Hall below 40% FG like it has with a few teams this season, it could get ugly - their defense looked like dogpoop vs. Syracuse but Jay Wright is a good coach and they followed it up with great D against Bucknell. I got it in at -5 as well after it changed.

If you are looking to put more down, I just got Villanova at -4.5 at at sportsbook... looks like it is -4.5 at pinnacle as well
well, i was drunk at a bar in villanova (for good luck), so i'm gonna roll with the 5.5 and 5 that i got - good luck to all of us /images/graemlins/grin.gif /images/graemlins/crazy.gif
nova playing great defense right now, forcing turnovers - SHU thrown the ball right out of bounds to no one at least 4 times this half, and they have 16 turnovers for the half
33-21 nova at the half, should be a whole lot more but nova didnt shoot that well in the first half, a lot of open looks too
nova's gone cold, missing wide open shots a whole bunch - 12fg in a row missed, let SHU back in...SHU been in bonus since 15:00 left - up 9 with 9 to go....GO NOVA

Villanova -5.5 @ Seton Hall

Villanova 66, SHU 52
Watched this one cover to cover - Villanova really ran cold offensively late in the first and in the second half, but continued to play real real solid defense on the perimeter and block a bunch of shots, create turnover after turnover - SHU could not break Nova's D the whole game - if Nova had been clicking on offense (even just 3-12 instead of 0-12 during that one stretch), Nova would have won by 20+
NCAA YTD: 22-15-1

Shoulda taken the under 60 instead /images/graemlins/grin.gif
PHO 22, DAL 22 (thanks for the in and out at the end there, Steve-o)
Aww I only made a small bet on the Dallas 2H. I was really really thinking about making a larger one. Oh well. I seem to small bet winners and big bet losers.
