Thats pretty early position to be reraising a tight player with 88. I would probably fold. Is that too tight?

no its not too tight, and i think you are a bit maniacal with this hand. 3 betting with tens...i can see. three betting with 88 in mp is...a bad play preflop i think. when its capped, you are married to your hand, and when he caps the flop and the turn, i would say you are probably behind. but im not sure...calling two on the turn is expensive, you are getting like 14 to one on your call. i say you gotta call, and then pee your pants when an 8 hits on the river. i know its tough to let a set go on the flop or turn, but you also have the threat of AJ making the nuts. call down...maybe, but i like folding the flop/turn

against a player with a pfr of 7 i would fold this. against most im 3betting. its tough folding sets but this board is horrible and youre up against 2 tight players and some guy. i would have actually probably folded for the first 2 on the turn, but when it gets capped there is no way you should call.
