Hi duders, I'm cross posting this from the Other Poker forum. If you ever felt one of my posts have helped you, then maybe you can help me by doing this:

hi guys,

i think triple draw is a fantastic game, but it can only be played in teh ring games of UB. I think a triple draw sng or possibly MTT would be great, but UB doen't feature them. so if you want to see this happen, come join me in bugging hte hell out of UB until they add them.

simply go to UB, click the customer support tab on the side. then click the support button and write them a little message saying you'd like to be able to play a triple draw tourney or sng and hope they add them.

thanks!
chris

Usually between 2-5 games going.

Not too many.

Perhaps we can get a low limit 2+2 table going from time to time.

I used to love the triple draw games. When I was building my bankroll up from 8$, the .01/.02 triple draw game really gave me a boost.

I'll send a message sometime today.

1. "Duders" should henceforth be spelled (spelt?) "Dooders."

2. Can you explain the rules again? The only Triple Draw game I seem to be able to understand is A-5 and when I told you that you gave me a resounding "Meh."

27 is the same as a5 except that ace isn't low card anymore.

so if you know A5, you know 27

You're missing something important.

In 27, is the low hand 23457 or 23456. Logic tells me from the name of the game that it's 23457.

There is another important difference. In A-5, straights and flushes don't count, in 2-7 they do. So in A-5 A2345 is the nuts and in 2-7 23457 is the nuts.

I'm sure you knew this, but I thought I'd clear it up for everyone else.

There have been more games recently. I was playing a little 2/4 A-5 last night.

As commonly played, I believe, A-5 doesn't count staights and flushes as high hands so A-5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif is still the nuts even though it is a straight flush.

In 2-7 you can't make either a straight or a flush since they are high hands.

These too seemingly not so large differences apparently make the game significantly different from each other.

I've never played on UB, but maybe I'll create an account just so I can join the flock in supporting CDC's cause. Plus, Evan tells me playing shorthanded $4/8 tripledraw is cool.

Yeah, I'll send a letter to UB tonight, but I would rather play cash games than tournaments.
