I'll learn this game eventually, but not on this hand, it seems.

Calling the flop was probably my worst option, right? Is TPGK worth raising or should I just get out?

Bump because I'm interested.

With a bigger kicker, I've been making pot sized raises with hands like this. a) i'm not sure if that's right. b) i'm not sure how to play this one.

Some will argue, due to the small stacks, this hand should be folded preflop. I'd still call.

I think a flop call is fine. Folding is not bad. Raising is bad. Fold to a bigger bet on the turn if you don't improve, check if checked to.

I honestly don't think this play is that bad.

I like calling this flop and seeing what happens on the turn. Might pick yourself up a draw.

Oh wait, for some reason I thought you were SB. I fold this preflop.

Okay, is this one of those situations where I'm leaking chips?

My thinking on this kind of flop is, there's a good chance I have the best hand right now, but I could be beat now or on 4th or 5th street. So I want to define my hand, and make someone drawing to a bigger hand than mine pay incorrectly to see more cards. MP1's bet is probably weak (I play 22s and 33s), not tricky, though of course a set or big pair is possible (though wierdly played big pair). I'd raise to say 65. I'd expect to take the pot a good percentage of the time. If I'm called, maybe I pick up some good draws on the turn (8c, 9c, maybe any J). If I don't I'm hoping to check behind, or fold to a strong bet on the turn. On the flop I'd fold to a reraise. Am I a weak LAG?

Raise the flop. You have position and likely the best hand. Any A, K, Q or diamond is scary, so go ahead and take the pot now.

If someone calls, bet again on the turn. Check behind on river. Fold if they play back at you.
