$10+1 Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (3 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

BB (t835)
Button (t4575)
Hero (t2590)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif.
Button calls t300, Hero raises to t900, 1 fold, Button calls t600.

Flop: (t2100) J/images/graemlins/club.gif, 3/images/graemlins/club.gif, 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
Hero bets t1690 (All-In), Button calls t1690.

Turn: (t5480) 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: (t5480) J/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: t5480

The button was a LAG. I was hoping to take out the small stack with my raise and get the big stack to call. Too greedy? I could've just pushed preflop, but I'm not sure the result would've been any different.

So, was there a better way to play this?

that's perfect, any way to get all the money in on the flop is fine.... Pushing preflop gives up so much +ev because they often fold

Got rivered, it sucks. Played it fine, you are gambling for first.

I'd push on the bubble.
